A few days ago, Davit Ishkhanyan, President of the Armenian National Assembly, received the members of the "Council of Elders" NGO, led by the chairman of the council, Mikael Hajiyan.

The chairmanship of the NGO welcomed the election of Davit Ishkhanyan to the position of the President of the Artsakh National Assembly.

Mikael Hajiyan assured that the "Council of Elders" will make every effort to ensure the cohesion of healthy political forces, the close cooperation between the state and the church and the restoration of the Armenian trinity.

David Ishkhanyan emphasized the importance of consultations and direct contacts with experienced and distinguished members of the public.

The meeting discussed the security situation in the republic, as well as the deepening socio-economic crisis.
