August 7, Artur Tovmasyan, former President of the Artsakh Republic National Assembly of the 7th convocation, transferred the duties of the head of the parliament to the newly elected President of the National Assembly.

Artur Tovmasyan congratulated David Ishkhanyan on his assumption of office and expressed conviction that the new president will continue the activities of the parliament for the benefit of the people.

Davit Ishkhanyan, the newly elected President of the National Assembly, in turn, thanked Artur Tovmasyan, ensuring to be guided by the foundations already built.
