July 26, a sitting of the Standing Committee on Defense, Security and Law Enforcement of the Republic of Artsakh National Assembly was convened, chaired by the Chairman of the committee, Marcel Petrosyan.

The issue "On Making Amendments and Additions to the law "On Military Service and the Status of Servicemen" was discussed, which was presented by Zhirayr Mirzoyan, First Deputy Head of Artsakh President's Office.

In the legal regulation proposed by the bill, a legal opportunity will be created to establish the status of persons who died or caused harm to health in the performance of official or professional duties during the fighting.

The bill has been approved by the Head Committee.
