February 28, the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh, Artur Tovmasyan, made an official statement, in which it is said:

“According to paragraph 8 of Article 62, part 2 of the Law of the Republic of Artsakh “On the Prosecutor’s Office”, on February 24, the Prosecutor General submitted his resignation to the National Assembly, which was resubmitted in accordance with the established procedure on February 28. Due to this, in accordance with Article 62, Part 4 of the Law «On the Prosecutor’s Office ", the powers of Prosecutor General, Gurgen Nersisyan, were prematurely terminated from February 28”
