OF THE REPUBLIC OF ARTSAKH

NATIONAL ASSEMBLY FACTIONS

Recently, in the official circulation of the Republic of Armenia, in particular, in the speeches of some deputies of the National Assembly, statements have been made that cast doubt on the significance of the Artsakh national liberation struggle and the right of the people of Artsakh to self-determination, which in turn causes a split in the unity of the nation.

Gurgen Arsenyan, deputy of the Civil Contract faction of the Republic of Armenia National Assembly, recently made a similar statement.

All factions of the Republic of Artsakh National Assembly, strictly condemning such dangerous behavior, express confidence that such statements not only do not proceed from the interests of the Armenian people, but also pour water on the mill of the Turkish-Azerbaijani tandem.

We are waiting for the official reaction of the factions represented in the RA National Assembly.

In order to exclude such irresponsible statements in the future, we call for the issue to be discussed in the Ethics Committee.

We are convinced that we can only resist the challenges facing the two Armenian republics within Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora trinity.
