STATEMENT

THE REPUBLIC OF ARTSAKH

NATIONAL ASSEMBLY FACTIONS

Last few days, Azerbaijanis who have used phosphorus bombs against the civilian population of Artsakh, for the second time, blocked the Stepanakert-Goris highway under environmental pretext.

That is the road, which received the status of a corridor by the tripartite agreement of November 9(10).

We strongly condemn the provocative actions organized by the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan, which are aimed at destabilizing the situation in the region.

We appeal to the citizens of the Republic of Artsakh to exercise restraint, be alert in order to prevent any provocative actions of Azerbaijanis jointly. Our people who have overcome many difficulties during their struggle for survival, this time also will confront current and future challenges.

We call on the international community to take concrete steps to curb Azerbaijan's aggressive ambitions.

We urge the Russian peacekeepers, within the framework of the tripartite agreement, prevent similar anti-human actions of Azerbaijanis with the most severe measures.
