September 29, the first sitting of the Artsakh NA 6th session of the 7th convocation was convened.

First, the parliamentarians observed a minute of silence in memory of the heroes who pierished in the 3 Artsakh wars and for the defense of the RA borders.

After approving the agendas of the session and the sitting, the parliament started the legislative work.

The draft “On Amendments to the law "On Compensation for Damages Caused to the Life or Health of Military men during the Defense of the Republic of Artsakh"" was submitted to the National Assembly for discussion by the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Artsakh, Davit Poghosyan.

After receiving the positive conclusion of the Standing Committee on Budget, Financial and Economic Management on the bill, the law was adopted with 30 votes in favor.

The bill "On Amendments to the Law on Remuneration of Persons Holding State Positions" received a positive conclusion in the Standing Committee on Budget, Financial and Economic Management. With 30 votes in favor, it was adopted as a law.

The next legislative change was on the draft law "On Amendments to the Law "On Patent Fees"". With the positive conclusion of the NA Standing Committee on Production and Manufacturing Infrastructure issues, .it was adopted as a law with 29 votes in favor.

The draft law "On Making Additions and Amendments to the Law "On Compensation for Damages Caused to the Life or Health of Servicemen during the Defense of the Republic of Artsakh" were adopted by the parliament with 30 votes. The draft laws "On Amendments to the Law "On State and Service Secrets"" with 28 votes and "On Amendments to the Law "On Local Duties and Fees"" by 28 votes were also adopted.

The package of draft laws "On Making Additions and Amendments to the Law ”On Property Tax"”, "On Amendments to the Law “On Land Tax"”, "On Amendments to the Law “On Taxes". With the positive conclusion of the general committee, the package of projects was adopted with 26 votes in favor.

The package of draft laws "On Amendments and Additions to the «Code of Civil Procedure"” and "On Amendments and Additions to the” Code of Administrative Procedure”" was previously approved by the Standing Committee on State Legal Affairs. The package was adopted as law with 28 votes in favor.

The draft law "On Amendments to the Law “On Public Organizations" - 28 votes in favor, the draft Law “On Amendments to the Law "On Civil Service"- 26 in favor, the draft Law “On Amendments to the Law "On Police Service”"- 25 votes in favor and "" The packet of the laws "On Amendments to the Law “On the Occupied Territories of the Republic of Artsakh" was adopted as laws with 20 votes in favor.

The draft "On the Gas Tariff Subsidy Proposal" was unanimously adopted by the parliament and will be submitted to the Government of Artsakh.

At noon during the question and answer session with the executive, the deputies asked 23 questions to the members of the government. The first question was raised by NA Speaker Artur Tovmasyan regarding the electricity subsidies. Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Hayk Khanumyan said, answering the question, he answered that the government had canceled decision on previous tariffs. The head of parliament welcomed this decision, stressing that in the post-war period social programs for the population need to be intensified.

Other issues related to the uninterrupted operation of electricity supply in the winter, increasing the efficiency of the use of funds allocated to the field of civil protection and ongoing work, the operating conditions of the Sarsang reservoir, health and education issues.
