September 20, the representatives of the Artsakh NA factions led by the Vice-President of the Parliament, Gagik Baghunts, met with the academic council and student council members of Artsakh State University (ArSU)
Issues related to the situation in the country, geopolitical developments, and existing challenges were discussed at the meeting, which was attended by the oppositionist, Tigran Petrosyan.
The parliamentarians presented the details of the meetings held in RA on September 15-17. They emphasized that the destiny of Artsakh should be decided in Artsakh. No document will be signed without our people and government. The deputies conveyed the assurances of the Armenian partners to the public.
The deputies answered the questions of the teaching staff and students. They highlighted that they don’t see the peace agenda without preservation of the sovereignty of Artsakh and integrity of Armenia.
In the current situation, the deputies urged to prevent disunity, put aside disagreements and unite around the national agenda.
Summarizing the meeting, the Rector, Armen Sarkissian, emphasized the need for such meetings, strengthening the bond between the legislator and the people. NA Vice-President, Gagik Baghunts, mentioned that they were planning a series of meetings with the general public.
