Since 2007, August 17, the day of the Martuni revival has been celebrated by decision of the Republic of Artsakh Council of Elders of the city of Martuni.

Although the 2020 Artsakh war is called a 44-day war, it actually lasted 45 calendar days. After the trilateral announcement, fierce battles were going on in the eastern direction of Artsakh at about 14:00, and the enemy made the last efforts to capture the fortress city of Martuni and the large settlements surrounding it.

However, thanks to the force of arms of the selfless sons of the Motherland and 100s of perished, today Martuni and other settlements of the region are firmly on the chosen path.

We congratulate all the people of Martuni and wish them fortitude, courage of spirit and a peaceful future in their homeland.
