The Head of the National Assembly handed him over the decision of the Armenian-Russian Cossack Union on awarding Armen Harutyunyan the rank of Major General and Ataman of the Cossack troops.

During the meeting, a wide range of issues related to the activities of this union were discussed.

"Our only goal is to achieve the recognition of the independence of Artsakh", the major general of the Cossack troops, who is a participant in the three Artsakh wars, mentioned during the conversation.

Artur Tovmasyan expressed readiness to support the union in all patriotic initiatives to make it more effective.

With this purpose the Head of the National Assembly will meet with the Artsakh-Russian Cossack Union board members on May 9.
