April 5, Artsakh Republic National Assembly convened a special sitting chaired by the Head of the Parliament.

Davit Babayan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh, was present at the sitting.

The issue on the agenda was the announcement of the Artsakh Republic National Assembly initiated by the deputies of the National Assembly.

MP Gegham Stepanyan presented the text of the announcement as the main speaker.

The issue on the agenda was previously discussed at a meeting of the Head Committee and, with a positive conclusion, was submitted for discussion at an extraordinary meeting.

Deputies David Ishkhanyan, David Galstyan, Metaxe Hakobyan and NA President Artur Tovmasyan exchanged views.

Next parliament adopted the announcement with 29 votes in favor.
