Dear compatriots!

I congratulate all of us on the unity of the Armenian people, on the national awakening - оn the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the Artsakh National Liberation Struggle.

Today, February 13, is marked as the initial stage of the Artsakh national liberation struggle, the 34th anniversary of the Karabakh movement.

For the first time under the Soviet legal regime, calls were made from Lenin Square in Stepanakert for the withdrawal of the Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Region (NKAO) from the Azerbaijani SSR and reunification with Mother Armenia.

Undoubtedly, that outburst of national awakening was irreversible in the memory of contemporaries, and at the request of about fifty thousand demonstrators, already on February 20, by the decision made by the special session convened by the NKAO Regional Council, that historically significant legal act was adopted.

We consider it necessary to emphasize and inform our compatriots that due to the intensification of the epidemic, we will organize the events dedicated to February 20 in the same way, as we celebrated the 30th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Artsakh independence restraint and modestly, as it was organized on September 2.

Ahead of the day, it is planned to hold a special sitting of the National Assembly, with the involvement of all the factions of the Parliament of the Artsakh Republic, where the decision on the 34th anniversary of the Artsakh national liberation struggle, the Karabakh movement, will be published.
