January 26, a sitting of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs was convened.

The discussion of the draft "On Amending the Constitution of the Artsakh Republic" was the issue of the agenda.

Amendments are proposed to extend the terms of the process of reviewing the administrative-territorial division envisaged by the Constitution, from 5 years to 10 years.

The committee unanimously voted for the draft and in the first reading it will be presented for discussion at the next regular sitting.
