Artsakh Republic National Assembly Convened an Extraordinary Session

December 27, the National Assembly of the Artsakh Republic convened an extraordinary session.


In accordance with the requirements of Article 40 of the Law on the "Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly", on December 25, 2021, the deputies of the National Assembly submitted an official letter to the National Assembly with an initiative of convening a extraordinary session of the National Assembly.


It was proposed to convene an extraordinary session of the Republic of Artsakh National Assembly on December 27, 2021 at 11:00, including the declaration of the National Assembly "On the dangers and challenges threatening the sovereignty and subjectivity of the Artsakh Republic" in the agenda.


The text of the declaration was presented by the Republic of Artsakh NA deputy, Gegham Stepanyan.


The day before, the issue of the agenda was discussed at the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations and was approved by the committee with 3 votes in favor.


The parliamentarians M. Hakobyan, D. Ishkhanyan, A. Mosiyan and A. Tovmasyan made speeches.


Afterwards the declaration was put on a vote and adopted unanimously.
