A Group of Schoolchildren Hosted in the Republic of Artsakh Parliament

December 21, the Head of the Republic of Artsakh National Assembly, Artur Tovmasyan met with a group of schoolchildren who have progressed in science subjects. The Head of the Parliament emphasized the role of the youth in state-building, emphasizing the activity of young deputies working in the legislature. Artur Tovmasyan presented the structure of the National Assembly, the essence of parliamentary work, referred to the role of the opposition. He also spoke about the 44-day war and the post-war realities. Those present observed a minute of silence in memory of the Armenians who died in the three wars in Artsakh. Answering the questions of the schoolchildren, the Head of the Parliament referred to security issues and regional developments. During the meeting, they also spoke about the prospects for the development of education, in particular, the work being done to develop science subjects. Artur Tovmasyan presented the book "Shushi" to schoolchildren, urging them to be educated and read a lot. Aram Harutyunyan, Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth, Sports, and Aida Gyanjumyan, Advisor to the Republic of Artsakh Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Artsakh, took part in the meeting.
