May 25, a joint sitting of the National Assembly Standing Committees for Foreign Relations and Budget, Financial and Economic Management of the National Assembly was convened.
Executions of the 2020 budget of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tourism, Public Television and Radio Company and the “Azat Artsakh” newspaper have been presented.
The budget expenditures of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have been presented by Armine Alexanyan, Deputy Foreign Minister. The estimate maintenance cost of the 2020 of the Foreign Ministry was 803.245.5 drams, from which 686.262,155 drams was actually spent. Thus, the budget execution was 85.4%.
35 million drams have been allocated from the reserve fund to provide financial support to the Lebanese community.
The cost of maintaining permanent representations in foreign countries amounted to 457,387.9 drams, which amounted to 66.6% of total maintenance costs.
Norayr Musayelyan, Deputy Minister of Economy and Agriculture, presented the execution of the tourism budget. For the development of the sphere 20,032.0 thousand drams were allocated from which 4,831.7 thousand drams were spent, which amounted to 96.02%.
The execution of the 2020 budget of the Public Television and Radio Company was 89.3%, the economy was 10.7%. Compared to the previous year, the saved amount increased to 2,046,186 drams.
24,422,857 drams were allocated from the reserve fund, of which 20,855,855 drams was actually spent. Performance was 85.4 percent. From the mentioned amount of 6,285,000 drams, 3,600,000 drams was spent on the entry and output of the entrance and exit systems of the TV and Radio Company. 7,500,000 drams are envisaged for the technical re-equipment of Public Radio, of which 6,618,000 drams were actually spent. Other expenditures from the reserve fund are related to direct airtight.
From 389,262,000 drams provided for the "Television and Radio Services" program, 369,952,200 drams was funded. Performance made 95 percent.
The budget of "Azat Artsakh" newspaper was 94 million 420 thousand drams, from which 84 million .17 thousand 770 drams was actually spent.
93 programs have been released out of the planned 150 ones due to the pandemic and war.
After submitting the budgets, the deputies asked questions to those responsible for the spheres.
