NA President Artur Tovmasyan Received the Republic of Artsakh Security Council Secretary, Vitaly Balasanyan

March 29, the National Assembly President Artur Tovmasyan met with the Secretary of the Security Council Vitaly Balasanyan.

Issues related to the security of the country have been discussed. The Head of the National Assembly considered the statements of the President of Azerbaijan and the

intolerant attitude of political forces of the neighboring country inadmissible.

"The war was stopped by the November 9 document, the issue of status of Artsakh is still on the agenda, Artsakh cannot be part of Azerbaijan, otherwise it will be cleared of Armenians, the issue of the territories occupied by Azerbaijan must be raised." Artur Tovmasyan said, emphasizing that the negotiation process should continue under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group.

The issue of destroying the Armenian cultural heritage in the occupied territories of Artsakh and raising the issue of vandalism in international instances have been discussed.

Issues related to legislative changes have also been discussed. Secretary of the Security Council Vitaly Balasanyan presented the draft laws approved by the council. They will be discussed according to the schedule of the extraordinary plenary sitting.

Pursuant to Article 37, Clause 6 of the Law "NA Rules of Procedure", an extraordinary plenary sitting is convened within 5 working days after sending an official letter addressed to the President of the National Assembly.
