RA Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan Was Received in the Republic of Artsakh NA

July 4, a private conversation of the NA President Artur Tovmasyan and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan took place in the National Assembly of the Artsakh Republic which then continued in an expanded format with the participation of the NA Vice-President Gagik Baghunts, the Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Vahram Balayan, the Republic of Artsakh Minister of Foreign Affairs Masis Mayilyan and the Adviser to the RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Vahe Gevorgyan.

Welcoming those present, Artur Tovmasyan spoke about the recent video conference between the Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers with the mediation and participation of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, in this context, emphasizing the need in the RA Foreign Minister's response to the belligerent statements of Azerbaijan and the need in ensuring the continued comprehensive security of the people of Artsakh, including free and safe movement.

Congratulating on holding the national elections and being elected as a result of it, the RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Zohrab Mnatsakanyan emphasized, that once again the determination of the people of Artsakh to build their future on the basis of the main principles of human freedom and the democratic system was demonstrated.

Speaking about the settlement of the Karabakh conflict, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan noted that the authorities elected by the people of Artsakh are empowered with the necessary mandate to advance the peace process and stressing that it is practically impossible to make real progress without the participation of the people of Artsakh,.

«The people of Artsakh have earned their right to live freely and they build their future with all responsibility and perform the right to live in freedom», said Zohrab Mnatsakanyan.

Issues related to the implementation of the negotiation process in the pandemic conditions, parliamentary diplomacy and cooperation between the two Armenian republics have been discussed at the meeting.
