The 2019 state budget execution sector reports have been presented by the Minister of Education, Science and Culture Lusine Gharakhanyan and the Minister of Military Upbringing, Youth, Sports and Tourism Samvel Shahramanyan.
Presenting the 2019 state budget report on education, science and sports, Lusine Gharakhanyan, the Minister of Education, Science and Culture, noted that 15 billion 252 million drams was provided for the spheres in the previous year, the adjusted plan made 15 billion 260 million drams, the expenditure - 15 billion 22 million drams.
According to the Minister, 1 billion 523 million 918 thousand drams was envisaged for the cultural services in the reporting year, 1 billion 519 million 099 thousand drams was planned, 1 billion 466 million 778 thousand drams or 96.6% was spent.
Next the Minister of Military Upbringing, Youth, Sports and Tourism Samvel Shahramanyan presented the 2019 budget performance in the sports and youth sectors.
According to the Minister, out of 373 million 203 thousand drams envisaged for the development of sports in the republic, 352 million 246 thousand drams have been performed, or 94.4%. Out of 34 million drams allocated for the development of the youth sphere, 32 million 443 thousand drams have been used, or 95.4%.
The deputies asked the members of the government a number of other issues related to scientific programs, provision of specialists in rural schools, free higher education system, accreditation of universities, principles of allocating money to sports federations, teaching physical education in schools.
