STATEMENT
On the Creation of the Friendship Group “Artsakh-Canada”
Accepting with gratitude the March 19, 2019 Statement by the Members of the Canadian House of Commons on Creating a Group of “Parliamentary Friends of the People of Artsakh”,
Reaffirming the commitment of the Republic of Artsakh to establishing good-neighborly relations with all nations based on the principle of equal rights and self-determination of peoples,
Appreciating the readiness of the Canadian legislators to develop dialogue and mutual contacts, as well as to disseminate tolerance and respect for human rights in the South Caucasus,
Aiming at constantly expanding ties with Canada, particularly in the field of humanitarian cooperation,
We, the undersigned parliamentarians of the Artsakh Republic National Assembly, representing all the factions of the Parliament, declare the creation of "Artsakh - Canada" Friendship group at the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh
