July 28-29, 2010 – Vice President of the NKR National Assembly Arthur Tovmasyan was in Yerevan on a working visit. The Vice Presidents of the Parliament of Armenia Arevik Petrosyan and Samvel Nikoyan received the Vice President of the NKR National Assembly.
August 18, 2010 – NKR National Assembly President Ashot Ghoulyan received a Member of the UK House of Commons Steven Pound, escorted by the member of the UK office of Hay Dat Sevan Artin.
September 17, 2010 – NKR National Assembly President Ashot Ghoulyan received the President of Armenian Athletic Federation, twice European champion, legendary long jumper and record-holder Robert Emmiyan.
September 18, 2010 – NKR National Assembly President Ashot Ghoulyan received a group of Diaspora young people.
September 26 – October 2, 2010 – A parliamentary delegation led by the NKR National Assembly President Ashot Ghoulyan was in the United States on a working visit. The delegation had meetings in the Permanent Representation of Armenia to the United Nations, Eastern Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church of America in New York.
The delegation met with the U.S. co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Robert Bradtke, Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee Howard Berman, Representatives Jackie Speier, and Steve Rotman, the leadership of the Washington office of Hay Dat (ANCA) and Armenian Assembly of America (AAA) in Washington.
A solemn event dedicated to the 19th anniversary of the proclamation of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic took place in the United States Capitol. The event was organized with the support of the Co-chairs of the Armenian Caucus, Congressmen Frank Pallone, and Mark Kirk, Embassy of Armenia to the United State, Permanent Representation of Artsakh in the U.S. and American Armenian grassroots organisations. The NKR National Assembly President Ashot Ghoulyan, Ambassador of Armenia to the United States Tatul Margaryan, Congressmen made speeches during the event.
Within the visit program, Ashot Ghoulyan met with the experts on the South Caucasus in the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.

October 8, 2010 –NKR National Assembly President Ashot Ghoulyan received students of the Diplomatic School under the Foreign Ministry of Armenia headed by the director Vahe Gabrielyan, who arrived in Artsakh on a study visit.

The conference was organized with the support of ARF Hay Dat office of the Netherlands and “Garegin Njdeh” Youth Union.

June 10, 2011 – The 8th sitting of the Interparliamentary Committee on Cooperation between the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and National Assembly of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic with the co-chairmanship of the heads of the parliaments took place in Yerevan.
August 13, 2011 – NKR National Assembly President Ashot Ghoulyan received the participants of the Summer School of Diaspora Armenians’ Youth Leaders.
August 21, 2011 – NKR National Assembly President Ashot Ghoulyan received a group of French MPs. September 3, 2011 – NKR National Assembly President Ashot Ghoulyan received the delegation led by the Foreign Minister of Transnistria Vladimir Yastrebchak.
September 11-15, 2011 – The NKR parliamentary delegation led by the President of the National Assembly Ashot Ghoulyan was in Washington to participate in the solemn events dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the proclamation of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
The NKR delegation had meetings with Congressmen Adam Schiff and Eliot Engel, member of the Armenian Caucus, former chairman of the House Committee on Foreign Relations, Congressman Howard Berman in the U.S. Congress; Executive Director of the Armenian Assembly of America (AAA) Brian Arduni and head of the Washington office of Hay Day (ANCA) Aram Hamparian, coordinator of the Public Relations of the United States-Armenia Committee Ross Vartanian.

June 11-14, 2012 – A delegation headed by the President of the NKR National Assembly was in London on a working visit. The NKR delegation participated in the annual conference of the Britain-Armenia Friendship Group in the UK House of Lords. Ashot Ghoulyan delivered a key-note speech on “The Perspectives of Stability and Progress: Peace and state-building process in Nagorno-Karabakh” at the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London.

February 14, 2014 – NKR National Assembly President, leader of Democratic Party of Artsakh Ashot Ghoulyan participated in the 12th General Assembly of European Free Alliance in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. During the main event, which was dedicated to the protection of fundamental rights and freedoms of the individual, NKR Parliament President presented the way of exercise of the right to self-determination by Artsakh people, underlining the fact that the Independence Referendum of December 10, 1991, was organized and implemented in compliance with then acting legislation and norms of international law, which can be considered as the first successful case in Europe.
February 17, 2014 – NKR National Assembly President Ashot Ghoulyan met with the members of the British-Armenian Parliamentary Friendship Group headed by John Whittingdale in the Permanent Representation of NKR to Armenia in Yerevan.
April 1-4, 2014 – The NKR delegation led by the President of National Assembly Ashot Ghoulyan was in Germany on a working visit. Ashot Ghoulyan made a key-note speech on “The role of Nagorno-Karabakh in the process of development of South Caucasus” at a conference organized by the European Academy Berlin. June 14, 2014 – The 9th sitting of the RA NA-NKR NA Interparliamentary Commission on Cooperation took place in the NKR National Assembly. “The ceasefire agreement of 1994 and perspectives of peace” topic was on the agenda of the meeting.
June 16-18, 2014 – The parliamentary delegation headed by the President of the National Assembly Ashot Ghoulyan was in Paris on a working visit. The delegation met with the Chair of the France-Armenia Friendship Group, Senator Philip Kaltenbakh in the Senate and members of the France-Armenia Friendship Group in the National Assembly.

Head of the NKR Parliament had meetings with MEPs Jordi Sebastià, Ernest Maragall and Josep Maria Terricabras (the Greens/EFA), Josu Juaristi Abaunz (the Greens/Nordic Lefts) and director of the European Free Alliance Günther Dauwen.
A solemn event and reception dedicated to the 23rd anniversary of the NKR’s Independence took place at the EU Parliament. Speaker of the Cypriot House of Representatives, Yiannakis Omirou, more than a dozen MEPs, representatives of the “European Friends of Armenia” and other Brussels-based international organisations attended the event.
November 2, 2014 – The joint sitting of the Standing Committees on Foreign Relations of the parliaments of Armenia and Artsakh chared by chairmen Vahram Atanesyan and Artak Zakaryan took place in Stepanakert.
November 7, 2014 – The regular sitting of the RA NA-NKR NA Interparliamentary Commission on Cooperation chaired by the Presidents of the Parliaments of Armenia and Artsakh Galust Sahakyan and Ashot Ghoulyan took place in Yerevan.
December 1-3, 2014 – NKR National Assembly President Ashot Ghoulyan was in the United States on a working visit. Within the visit program, Ashot Ghoulyan had meetings with the U.S. Co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick, Co-chair of the Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues Frank Pallone, Congressmen Adam Schiff, Linda Sánchez, David Cicilline, Ed Royce, Anna Eshoo, Executive Director of the Armenian Assembly of America (AAA) Brian Ardouni and head of the Washington office of Hay Day (ANCA) Aram Hamparian, former chief of the structure Karo Armenian.
An event dedicated to the 23rd anniversary of the proclamation of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic took place in the U.S. Congress. The event was organized by the Armenian Caucus, Embassy of Armenia to the United State, Permanent Representation of Artsakh in the U.S. and American Armenian organisations.
February 6, 2015 – NKR National Assembly President Ashot Ghoulyan received the parliamentary delegation of the Republic of Armenia.
March 23, 2015 – NKR National Assembly President Ashot Ghoulyan received the Minister of Education and Science of Armenia Armen Ashotyan.
March 29, 2015 – NKR National Assembly President Ashot Ghoulyan received a group of participants of the “AGBU-88” conference arrived in Artsakh from U.S., Canada, Argentina, Mexico, Uruguay, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Iraq, Syria, UK, and Australia.
May 3, 2015 – NKR National Assembly President Ashot Ghoulyan received the delegation of South Ossetia led by the Speaker of the Parliament Anatoly Bibilov, who was in Artsakh to observe the parliamentary elections.
