March 21, the sitting of the Karabakh-France friendship circle took place. President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh Ashot Ghoulyan congratulated on the International Francophone Day and noted that the programs for training, dissemination and popularization of the French language remain among the priorities of the authorities. The Head of the Parliament underlined that the expansion of decentralized cooperation with France has serious perspectives and the existing resources allow the humanitarian and cultural spheres to exchange experience in the fields of economy and local self-governance. As a successful example, the recent visit of the Delegation of the City of Bouc-Bel-Air of France and the desire to deepen ties with the sister city Askeran were highlighted in a clear agenda. Then the members of the friendship circle exchanged views on upcoming programs, year-round events and their preparations.
