December 22, the Declaration on Creating a Friendship Group with the Parliament of the Kingdom of the Kingdom of Belgium and the establishment of a Friendship Circle with Belgian French-speaking legislators, representatives of scientific and public spheres was published in the National Assembly.

Touching upon the relations between the parliamentarians, representatives of public and scientific circles at various levels in Belgium and pointing out mutual visits that have been activated since 2015, the Head of the NA Ashot Ghoulyan emphasized that the current level of cooperation allows them to be institutionalized, taking into account the results of the visit of the Republic of Artsakh President to Belgium in October.

The Head of the Parliament presented the members of the friendship group and the circle formed with the participation of all NA factions.

After the announcement of the texts of the declarations, the members of the Group and the Friendship Circle approved the documents with signatures. Aram Grigoryan was elected chairman of the "Friendship Republic of the Artsakh-Parliament of the Flanders of the Kingdom of Belgium", and Vahram Balayan, head of the "Artsakh Friendship Circle - legislators, representatives of the scientific and public circles - francophones of Belgium".

October 18 and 20, similar group and circle of friendship were established in parliaments of Flanders and Wallonia-Brussels federation.
