Born October 1, 1967, in the village of Ughtadzor, Hadrout region

1984 – Finished local secondary school 

1984 -1985 – Studies in Yerevan vocational school No 7

1985-1987 – Served in the Soviet Army

1987-1989 – Worked in the Ughtadzor state farm "Friendship" as a dairy products laboratory assistant 

1989 – Assistant to the operational duty officer of the Internal Affairs Department of Hadrout region

Participated in the self-defense of the Ughtadzor sub-region from the beginning of the Artsakh movement

1992-1995 - Served in the NKR Defense Army as a company commander, took part in combat operations

1995 – Founded the LLC "Ashotik"

1997- 2000 - Elected head of the Ughtadzor rural community

2002 - Graduated from the Department of Economics and Management of the Abovyan University after Grigor Narekatsi, the specialty of an economist-manager

Since 2002 - Executive Director of the LLC "Ashotik"

June 19. 2005 - Elected a deputy of the National Assembly of the fourth convocation from the electoral district No. 12. Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Production and Manufacturing infrastructure 

May 23, 2010 - Elected to the National Assembly of the 5th convocation on the list of the party "Free Motherland" by proportional system, member of the Standing Committee on Production and Manufacturing Infrastructures

December 11, 2017 -  in the by-elections to the National Assembly of the sixrth convocation elected a deputy from the electoral district No. 6.
