Born on August 23, 1956 in the village of Chldran, Martakert region

1973 – Finished the Chldran secondary school with a gold medal

1981 - Graduated from Yerevan State Medical Institute, then went to work in Stepanakert city polyclinic as a district therapist

1985 - Appointed deputy chief physician, then chief doctor of the Stepanakert city polyclinic

1995 - 1997 - Deputy Minister of Health of the NKR

1997 - Appointed by the NKR Minister of Health

1998 - 1999 - Doctor in the Stepanakert city polyclinic

1999- 2007 - Minister of Health of the NKR.

November 2007 - Appointed Executive Director of the CJSC "Polyclinic named after Armine Pakumyan" of the NKR Ministry of Health

January 13, 2008 - Elected deputy of the National Assembly of the fourth convocation from electoral district No. 15, deputy chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Social Affairs at the additional elections to the National Assembly by majority system

Elected deputy of the NKR National Assembly of the 5th convocation from electoral district No. 10 at the parliamentary elections on May 23, 2010 by the majority system

June 10, 2010 - Elected chairman of the standing committee on social issues (since 2012 - on social issues and health) at the session of the first session of the National Assembly, member of the "Democracy" faction

September 2012 - March 2014 - Minister of Health of the NKR

March 2014 - Appointed First Deputy Minister of Health of the NKR

Since April 2016 - Adviser to the President of the NKR, Permanent Representative of the President of the NKR to the National Assembly
