1980 - Appointed chief engineer of the capital construction department by the decision of the Nagorno-Karabakh regional executive committee

June 19, 2005 - Elected a deputy of the National Assembly of the 4th convocation of the NKR from electoral district No 7. He was a member of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs
