Born on October 5, 1959 in the village of Arachadzor, Martakert region, former NKAO

1977 - Finished local secondary school

1978-1980 - Served in the Soviet army

1985 - Graduated from the History department of the Stepanakert State Pedagogical Institute

1985-1988 - Worked in different organizations of regional subordination in Stepanakert

1986-1987 - Deputy Chairman of the underground organization Artsakh Union actively participated in the underground stage of the national movement on the reunification of the Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Region to the Armenian SSR, the organization of an unofficial referendum, and the secret collection of signatures. He was a member of the delegation which left for Moscow on from 4 to 13 January, 1988 hand in the collected 81,000 signatures to the highest leadership of the USSR and the CPSU Central Committee. He was a member of the organization "Krunk", then its successor to the Stepanakert Board of Directors

1988-1991 - Worked in the Nagorno-Karabakh regional council of trade unions

1991 - Joined the ranks of the armed organization "Popular Front of Artsakh"

1991-1992 - Chairman of the Control Committee under the Executive Committee of the Stepanakert City Council

August, 1992 - During the fighting on the defense of Artsakh was seriously wounded

1992 - Elected a deputy of the NKR Supreme Council from the Stepanakert constituency No 22

1993 - Deputy Head of the Political Department of the NKR Defense Army

1994 - Head of the political department, Deputy Commander of the Defense Army

September 1996 – Sent to the reserve and appointed to the post in other public authorities

1996-1998 - First Minister of Social Welfare of the NKR

1998-1999 - Head of the State Tax Administration of the NKR

2002 - Appointed Deputy Chief of the Personnel Department of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia

Since  November 29, 2013 - Head of the Department of Social Protection of Servicemen of the Republic of Armenia Ministry of Defense

Colonel of the reserve

Has the 2nd class rank of a state adviser of the special civil service

Married and has two daughters

Awarded the medals of the Republic of Armenia "For Courage", "For Services Contributed to the Motherland" of the 2nd degree, "For Military Merit" (NKR, 07.05.2008), "Mother's Gratitude", "Andranik Ozanyan", "Drastamat Kanayan" "Garegin Nzhdeh", "Vazgen Sargsyan", "For Fair Service" of 1st, 2nd, 3rd degree, "20th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia", "For Strengthening Cooperation" of the Republic of Armenia Police and a commemorative personal weapon.
