Born on January 30, 1948 in the village of Metz Tagher of Hadrout district

1955-1966 - Studied at the Metz Tagher village school, then worked as a senior Pioneer leader at same the school

1967-1972 - Studied at the correspondence department of the faculty of Armenian language and literature of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical Institute

1967-1969 - Worked in the regional library

1969-1991 - Literary employee in the editorial office of the regional newspaper Hadrout, then the head of the department

1991-2003 – Chief editor of the newspaper

1991 - Teacher of Armenian language and literature in the secondary school of the district center

June 18, 2000 - Elected deputy of the NKR National Assembly of the 3rd convocation from the Hadrout constituency No. 18, member of the Standing Committee on social issues

Married and has two daughters

Member of the district Communist party committee, a deputy of the last three convocations of the district council, a member of the Nagorno-Karabakh regional union of journalists, as well as the УССР Union of Journalists

Has an honorary title of Honored Teacher of the NKR (04.06.2005)

Awarded the medal "Vachagan Barepasht" (05.05.2015).
