Born on May 2, 1945 in the village of Haterq in the Martakert region
1963 – Finished the local secondary school
1963-1969 - Studied at the medical faculty of the Yerevan State Medical Institute, then worked as the chief physician and surgeon in the precinct hospital in Artsvanik village, Kapan region
1970-1977 - Chief Physician and district hospital surgeon in the village of Leninavan, Martakert region
1977-1980 - Surgeon of the Martakert district hospital, then deputy director for the medical unit
1986-2007 - Head doctor, then the director of the Martakert district hospital
1988 - Active participant in the Karabakh movement, a member of the district's self-defense headquarters
Headed the Martakert military hospital during the war
June 18, 2000 - Elected a deputy of the NKR National Assembly of the 3rd convocation from Martuni electoral district No. 31, member of the Standing Committee on defense, security and law and order
June 19, 2005 - Elected deputy of the National Assembly of the 4th convocation of the NKR from the constituency No 15 of the village of Haterq, member of the Standing Committee on social issues
In the village of Haterq, he established the foundation and, through joint efforts of his fellow villagers, built a memorial complex for the warriors who died in the Artsakh war from the village of Haterq.
2007-2010 - Head of the Martakert District Administration
Since 2011 - Head of the surgical department of the Martakert District Hospital

Married and has five children
