September 1978 - April1979 - English teacher in the village secondary school of the Chartar

April 1979 - November 1980 - Served in the Soviet army

January 1981 - April 1988 - Methodist, inspector and Head of the Methodology Center of Martuni District People's Education Department

April 1988 - August 1993 - Headmaster of the Martuni Secondary School № 2

September 1993 - October 1994 - Served in the ranks of the NKR Defense Army, was deputy company commander, deputy chief of staff of the battalion

October 1994 - July 1996 - Head of the Department of Education, Culture and Sport of the Martuni region of the NKR

July 21, 1996 - Elected deputy of the parliament of the NKR from the Martuni constituency No 21 as a result of additional elections, member of the Standing Committee on Human Rights and National Minorities

September 1996 - July 2002 – English Lecturer at the Artsakh State University
