Born on July 19, 1957 in the city of Stepanakert

1964 -1974 - Studied at the Stepanakert secondary school No 3.

1975-1980 - Studied at the Faculty of Technical Cybernetics of the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute, specializing in Electronic Computers. At the same time he studied at the Faculty of "Medical Cybernetics" in the field of engineer-system engineering and medical cybernetics

1980-1988 - Worked in state and public organizations of the Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Region. He was the Head of the regional agricultural department and regional administration and Deputy Head of the social department of the regional council of the Federation of Trade Unions

1988-1992 - editor of the newspaper "Commercial intermediary"

1992 - Established the public organization "Helsinki Initiative-92".

Active participant of the Artsakh movement. He was the secretary of the Krunk Committee, one of the seven founders of the Miatsum (Unification) movement

April 30, 1995 - Elected deputy to the NKR Supreme Council of the second convocation from the Hadrout constituency No 18, member of the Standing Committee on foreign relations

1997 - Founded the Christian Democratic Party and have headed it until 2000.

2000 - Defended his doctoral dissertation in the International Academy of Political Science and Culture (Brussels, Belgium, Ph.D.).

2005 - Founded the party "Social Justice" and have headed it until 2015.

Since 2016 - Co-founder and co-chairman of the Artsakh Republican Party

Head of numerous international projects aimed at a peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
