1971 - 1990 - Head of the group, the Head of the sub-department, then the Deputy Head of the department, the Head of the department, the Deputy Director for scientific research, the Senior Scientific Researcher at the scientific research institute of electric machine building

1992 - Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the NKR

January 1995 - June 1998 - Vice-Premier of the NKR

1998- 1999 - Prime Minister of the NKR

Took an active part in the work carried out by the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund in the NKR, was a member of the executive board of the foundation
