December 28, 1991 - Elected deputy of the NKR Supreme Council of the first convocation from the Stepanakert constituency No 17

January 1992 - Elected Chairman of the NKR Supreme Council State Committee on Construction and Legal Issues

June 1993 - Appointed Acting Chairman of the Supreme Council of the NKR

May 4, 1994 - As the Head of the delegation of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic in Bishkek took part in the work of the CIS Inter-parliamentary assembly, signed the Bishkek protocol

April 30, 1995 - Elected to the second convocation of the NKR Supreme Council from the election district of the Krasny Bazar No 26
