1973-1975 -  Served in the Soviet army

1975-1980 - Studied at the Law Faculty of the Azerbaijan State University after Kirov

1980-1987 - The NKAO regional executive committee Instructor, assistant to the Chairman of the regional executive committee, Head of the organizational and administrative department of the regional executive committee

December 28, 1991 - Elected deputy of the NKR Supreme Council of the first convocation from the Stepanakert constituency No 17

January 1992 - Elected Chairman of the NKR Supreme Council State Committee on Construction and Legal Issues

June 1993 - Appointed Acting Chairman of the Supreme Council of the NKR

May 4, 1994 - As the Head of the delegation of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic in Bishkek took part in the work of the CIS Inter-parliamentary assembly, signed the Bishkek protocol
