Born on October 20, 1949 in the village of Sarushen, Askeran district

1966 - Graduated from the secondary school in the village of Chanakhchi

1967 - Fitter-assembler of the Stepanakert Electro-technical Plant

1968-1973 - Studied at the agronomy faculty of the Yerevan Agricultural Institute

January-May, 1973 - Chief agronomist of the Sarushen collective farm "May 9th"

1977-1978 - Chief agronomist-winemaker then deputy manager-chief agronomist of the Karsovkhozvintrest

1979 - Deputy General Director of the Karsovkhozintrest

January-March 1986 - Deputy Director General of the Nagorno-Karabakh Industrial Agrarian Union

March 1986 - January 1992 - Head of the department for the production of grapes, fruits and vegetables of the Agro-industrial Association of Nagorno-Karabakh

December 28, 1991 - Elected deputy of the NKR Supreme Council of the first convocation from the election district No 26 of the Shosh village. He was the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Agricultural Issues, member of the Presidium of the Supreme Council

January 1994 - Head of the deputy delegation of the Supreme Council of the NKR in Strasbourg, at a special meeting of the European Parliament, made a report on the solution of the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict, presenting the official position of the NKR

1995 - Appointed Head of the Department of State Property and Denationalization under the NKR government

December 25, 1996 - Minister of Agriculture of the NKR

March 5, 1998 - Appointed Head of the NKR State Management of statistics, State Register and Analysis

June, 1998 - July 2000 - Deputy Director of the joint venture "Great Valley"

July 31, 2000 - Head of the NKR Department of the State Unified Real Estate Cadaster

2001-2006 - Chairman of the State Committee of Real Estate Cadaster of the NKR

January 2009 -August 2011- Director of the Stepanakert branch of the State Agrarian University of Armenia

November 19th, 2012 - Deputy Director, then senior researcher of the Scientific Center of Artsakh

September 2003 – Professor of the agronomy faculty of the ArSU

2009 - Professor in the Stepanakert branch of the National Agrarian University of Armenia

2009 - Initiated and organized work on the creation of a trilingual atlas of the NKR. Author of more than 50 scientific articles, Armenia educational materials of monographs, teaching aids published in leading scientific journals of Armenia and abroad

 Married and has three children.

Awarded with medals "Mkhitar Gosh" (01.09.2007.), "Gratitude" (01.10.2009), Gold Medal of the branch of the National Agrarian University of Armenia, commemorative medals of the Supreme Council of Artsakh and ArSU.
