1976 - Finished Askeran secondary school

1977 - 1979 - Served in the Soviet Army

1979 – 1980 - Warehouse manager of a node communication simultaneously getting the specialty of goods manager

1980 - Head of the pavilion in the Askeran public catering

1986 - 1990 - Studied and graduated from Yerevan Cooperative Technical College

1988 – 1990 - Head of Production at the same institution

1990 - Started to form Askeran battalion, and later – Askeran regiment

August 1992 - Commander of the Askeran Defensive Area

1996 - 1998 – Division Commander

1998 - 1999 - Deputy Commander of the NKR Defense Army

September 1999 - Deputy Minister of Defense of NKR

March 2000 - Received military rank of a Major General

2005 – Elected deputy to the NKR National Assembly of the fourth convocation

2007 - Appointed Adviser to the President, August 2010 - dismissed from his post

May 3, 2015 - Elected deputy to the NKR National Assembly of the sixth convocation by the majority from the district No5. Member of the NA Standing Committee on Defense, Security and Law Enforcement, Member of the “Movement -88” faction

November 3, 2016 - Appointed Secretary of the NKR Security Council
