Born on June 18, 1949 in the village of Murishen, Martuni district

1973 - Graduated from the History Department of the History and Geography Department of Yerevan Pedagogical Institute after Khachatur Abovyan

1982 - Defended his thesis and worked as a lecturer at the Yerevan State University, Yerevan State Agricultural Institute and the Republican Institute for Advanced Training of Teachers

1988-1989 - Chairman of the Karabakh Committee of the Institute of History of the Armenian SSR

1990-1992 - Lecturer at the Stepanakert Pedagogical Institute

January 11, 1992 - Elected deputy to the first convocation of the Supreme Council of the NKR at the additional elections from the Stepanakert constituency No 7

January, 1992 - June, 1995 - Secretary of the NKR Supreme Council of the 1st convocation

1995 - Head of the Chair of History Faculty of the ArSU (Artsakh State University)

September 1998 - Elected a member of the council of elders of Stepanakert

Died on April 27, 1999

Author of several books and scientific articles

Has two children

Posthumously awarded the Order "Grigor Lousavorich" (30.08.2018) and Medal of "Mkhitar Gosh" (01.09.2001).
