Born on December 19, 1956 in the city of Stepanakert

1964-1974 - Studied at Stepanakert secondary school No 3

1974-1979 - Studied at the Department of Computer Science of the Faculty of Cybernetics of the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Systems Engineering

1980-1990 - Engineer of the Stepanakert Technical Department of Communications Operation, engineer of technical control of the Condenser Plant site, senior workshop master, engineer-dispatcher of the construction materials factory, power engineer of the water management department

Took an active part in the Artsakh national liberation movement

1989-1990 - Participated in the works of the charity "Amaras"

1990 - Carried out clandestine activities in the armed struggle of the Artsakh Liberation Movement. He was the chief of intelligence of the central staff, and also a member of the coordination council at the headquarters. In the same year he joined the ARF "Dashnaktsutyun" and was appointed responsible for conducting military operations, organizing and coordinating the activities of armed groups throughout the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. He was a member of the Berdadzor self-defense council

December 28, 1991 - Elected deputy of the NKR Supreme Council of the first convocation from the Stepanakert constituency No 12. He was Chairman of the Standing  Committee on Defense, Security and Law Enforcement

1992-1995 - Member of the State Defense Committee

1997-2000 - Director of the Stepanakert Electric Network

2000-2006 - Engaged in private business in the field of information technology

2007-2009 - Head of Infrastructure Department under the NKR government

2009-2012 - Head of the "Artsakhenergo"

2012-2013 - Advisor to the NKR Prime Minister

Since 2013 - Director of OOO “Metakskombinat”
