May 30, the opening ceremony of the "National Assembly Cup" finals of the tournament was held, which was attended by Artsakh Republic National Assembly President Ashot Ghoulyan, the Head of the Republic of Artsakh NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport, Armen Sargsyan, deputies and RA Minister of Education, Science and Sports, Slava Asryan.

The 8 teams of athletes from Stepanakert and the regions are participating in the final.

Welcoming the athletes the Head of the National Assembly Ashot Ghoulyan wished success in further fighting and noted that such competitions form a generation of those devotees who will continue the 1988 traditions of Artsakh independence.

"I want you to always remember and realize that you will be called the next generation of those brave men who liberated Shoushi and heroically protected the borders of our country in April last year," the President said.
