February 19, President of the NKR National Assembly Ashot Ghoulyan received a delegation of the Kingdom of Belgium - Serge de Patoul and MP-Brussels Federation Valonia Benoit Dresen, who arrived in Artsakh for the implementation of the international observation mission to the referendum on the draft Constitution of the Republic of Artsakh.

Noting the importance of the presence of international observers at the referendum, Ashot Ghoulyan underlined: “It is the third referendum in our country. We give importance and take into consideration all the objective assessments given by the observers.”

Afterwards, president of the parliament answered the questions of Belgian delegation representatives concerning the draft Constitution provided for features of the form of government and the proposed changes in the important areas of the state activity.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Armenian National Committee of Europe Gaspar Karapetyan.
