On February 16, the Chairman of Supreme Council of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Artur Mkrtchyan would have turned 58.  Today, the NKR NA Deputies visited Stepanakert Memorial and placed flowers at the tombstone of Arthur Mkrtchyan.

“By paying tribute to Artur Mkrtchyan we also pay tribute to all figures of that period who did a great job from the perspective of initiating the national liberation struggle and building statehood, by so we express our commitment to the work started in 80s to continue our straggle, to strengthen our statehood and ensure our firm place and position in the region,” the Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly Vahram Balayan mentioned.
