January 12, Specialized Commission on Constitutional reforms under the NKR President convened a regular meeting.

Commission Chairman Ashot Ghoulyan has summarized the work done by the Commission to date, the work envisaged under the procedures and measures provided for further actions.

On December 29 the NA plenary session was interrupted by discussions on the draft constitution and the deputies and the factions were given the opportunity to submit proposals and comments on the draft constitution before the end of the working day on January 11.

According to Ashot Ghoulyan, during this time the Commission received 200 proposals and comments.

"The proposals were sufficiently more than expected, for which we thank the authors, as these recommendations will help us to summarize the work associated with the project of the Constitution", - said Ashot Ghoulyan.

Then the commissioners proceeded to the consideration of the proposals received, after which further action will be identified.
