December 6, joint meeting of the NKR standing committees of the National Assembly on State and Legal Affairs and on Budget, Finance and Economic Management was held.

The meeting was conducted by the chairman of the standing committee on Finance, Budget and Economic Management Ruslan Israelyan and deputy chairman of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs Arsen Arstamyan.

The agenda included issues of financing of public authorities, the judicial system and procuracy provided for in the draft of the NKR law "On the NKR State Budget for 2017".

Expenses of the NKR President's Office and the National Assembly for 2017 were submitted by the Head of the Office of the Artsakh Republic President Marat Musaelyan and Head of the NKR National Assembly Garik Zhamharyan.

According to Chief of the Supreme Court,  Narine Narimanyan, expenditures for the maintenance of the judicial system on the draft state budget for 2017 would amount to 558 million 195 thousand drams, which is 12 million 278 thousand drams more than last year.

The Prosecutor General, Arthur Mosiyan, noted that in 2017 planned expenditures will amount to 497 million 761 thousand AMD, more than 4 million 261 thousand drams compared to the data for the year 2016.

According to the Minister of Justice Ararat Danielyan, next year, the planned expenses in the coming year amount to 337 million drams, which is 1 million 895 thousand drams more than in the previous year.

After the break, sectorial projects of the state budget for 2017 have been submitted by the chairman of the Control Chamber Ernest Avanesyan, the NKR Human Rights Defender Ruben Melikyan, chairman of the Civil Service Council Boris Arushanyan and chairman of the Central Election Commission Srbuhi Arzumanyan.

According to the draft 2017 state budget expenditures for the maintenance of the Control Chamber are amounted to 134 million 947 thousand drams, which is 843 thousand drams more than last year.

NKR Ombudsman office expenses in the next year will amount to 41 million 796 thousand drams.

Civil Service Board expenses in 2017 are planned in the amount of 100 million 811 thousand drams, which is 4 million 118 thousand drams more than last year.

According to the draft budget, the cost of the Central Election Commission will make 154 million 270 thousand drams, which is an increase of 65 million 683 thousand drams compared to that of 2016.

In the afternoon, the joint meeting of the standing committees of the NKR National Assembly on State and Legal Affairs and on Budget Finance and Economic Management was continued.

The draft budget for 2017 have been submitted by the mayor of Stepanakert, heads of district administrations and their deputies.

The cost of maintaining the City Hall of Stepanakert are planned in the amount of 305 million 661 thousand drams.

According to the draft 2017 budget, the cost of maintaining the Askeran region administration will make 172 million 554 thousand drams, which is 719 thousand drams less than last year.

In 2017 the cost of maintaining the Hadrout district administration amount to 136 million 323 thousand drams, which is 1 million 98 thousand drams less than last year.

The cost of maintaining the administration of Martakert region is planned in the amount of 161 million 738 thousand, which is 829 AMD 3 million less than in 2016.

Next cost of maintaining the Martouni district administration is planned in the amount of 167 million 177 thousand, which is 2 million 831 thousand drams less than in 2016.

The cost of maintaining the administration Kashatagh region is planned in the amount of 279 million 790 thousand, which is 581 thousand drams less than in 2016.

In 2017, the cost of maintaining the Shahumyan district administration are planned in the amount of 108 mln 860 thousand, which is 1 million 204 thousand drams more than in 2016.
