September 2, President of the NKR National Assembly Ashot Ghoulyan received the Vice President of the European Free Alliance (EFA) Party, Lorena Lopez de Lacalle and Director of the same party, Günther Dauwen .

Welcoming the guests, Ashot Ghoulyan highly appreciated the activities of the European Free Alliance in supporting Artsakh and underlined the importance of the visit of the delegation to participate in the festive events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the proclamation of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic.

"I am convinced that this third visit of the delegation of the European Free Alliance will create new opportunities for cooperation", - said the Head of the Parliament.

In his turn, the EFA Director Günther Dauwen emphasized that they happily accepted the invitation and expressed willingness to continue to raise awareness in the European community about the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.

"The events taking place in Artsakh cannot stay out of the general processes taking place in Europe," said Günther Dauwen.

During the meeting they discussed issues of exchange of experience between the NKR political parties, especially the Democratic Party of Artsakh and the European Free Alliance, as well as protecting the interests of Artsakh in the European structures through the inter-party platforms and cooperation.
