March 18, on the initiative of the NKR National Assembly Standing Committee on Production and Manufacturing Infrastructure parliamentary hearings on the problems in the agricultural sphere and the NKR draft law "On Agricultural Cooperatives," authored by the MPs Vahram Balayan and Alyosha Gabrielyan were held.

Discussions were conducted by the Chair of the Committee, Arpat Avanesyan.

Minister of the NKR Agriculture Aram Mkhoyan and the regional administrations responsible people attended the event.

The deputies present at the hearings, addressed the co-authors with questions on the draft as well as exchanged views on several articles of the draft

Suggestions were also made by the responsible persons of the regional administrations.

NKR Minister of Agriculture Aram Mkhoyan presented the explanatory work with citizens engaged in agriculture as a priority in parallel with carrying out legislative reforms.

In the coming days, the NKR National Assembly Standing Committee on Production and Manufacturing Infrastructure will clarify its position on the draft.
