December 4 afternoon a joint meeting of the Standing Committees on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport and Budget, Financial and Economic Management was held.

The reports on financing of the spheres of science, education, culture, youth and sports, as provided for in the draft law of NKR "On the State Budget of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic for 2016", made by the Minister of Culture and Youth Affairs Narine Aghabalyan and Minister of Education, Science and Sport Slava Asryan.

According to the draft state budget, 1 billion 973 million 537 thousand AMD will be allocated to the Ministry of Culture and Youth Affairs in 2016.

Expenses on education, on the draft budget for 2016 will amount to 13 billion 940 million 247 thousand AMD.

Responsible persons, presenting the draft budget and the NKR Deputy Finance Minister G. Martirosyan, answered the parliamentarian’ questions and gave further explanations.

Chairman of the NKR National Assembly Ashot Ghoulyan and Deputy Chairman Vahram Balayan attended the discussions.
