October 14, the NKR National Assembly Chairman Ashot Ghoulyan met with the Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees of Armenian Assembly of America (AAA) Carolyn Mugar and Co-Chairman Anthony Barsamian in Yerevan.

The sides discussed possible areas of cooperation between Armenian organizations in the US and the NKR state structures in particular with the Parliament. During the meeting the sides exchanged views on issues related to regional security, as well as development of socio-economic life in Artsakh.

The meeting was attended by the regional director of the Armenian Assembly of America Arpi Vardanyan.

The same day Ashot Ghoulyan participated in planting trees in the parkland of Parakar in memory of the U.S. first Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Republic of Armenia Harry Gilmore.
