May 26, Chairman of the Parliament of Nagorno Karabakh Republic Ashot Ghoulyan participated in the opening ceremony of the regular “NKR National Assembly Cup” which took place in Stepanakert Republic Stadium after Stefan Shahoumyan.

Chair of the NKR NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Armen Sargsyan, Minister of Education and Science Slava Asryan, MPs, representatives of sport and education attended the event.

8 teams– 3-6 form students, who showed the best results in athletics in the city and regional level, took part in the final stage of the competition.

Welcoming the students, the NA Chairman noted that the annual “NKR National Assembly Cup” which is held for the 12th time pay attention to physical education and the forming  of strong-willed qualities of the younger generation.

NKR NA Cup will last 2 days. The winning team will gain the right to participate in the NA Cup Armenia.
