October 4, 2014 NKR NA Chairman Ashot Ghoulyan met a delegation of the French city of Bourg-les-Valence headed by the mayor Marlene Mourier.

The meeting discussed the issues of development of  bilateral relations between Artsakh and France and stressed the importance of decentralized cooperation format.

Both sides stressed the importance of strengthening of friendly relations and cooperation between of Bourg-les-Valence, France and  Shushi, Artsakh in culture and education.

The meeting was attended by the mayor of Shushi Artsvik Sargsyan and NKR permanent representative to France Hovhannes Gevorgyan.
